My boys haven't put this game down all summer. Since we're living in Japan, they can take their pokewalkers to the Pokemon Center, 7-11 and other places and get new pokemons. If they're walking around town and their pokewalkers are visible, other kids will come up to share pokemons. It's a huge hit and they've gotten a lot of cool pokemons from it. Of course it's all Greek to me, but my sons have been talking about Pokemons and this game ALL SUMMER. We have both Heartgold and Soulsilver but Heartgold seems to be the favorite. If you have a Pokemon fan you're shopping for, this is THE gift to get!

I would definitely reccommend if your a pokemon fan. It's extremely better then the original and you even can walk with you pokemon out of the game. Also your leader pokemon follows you in the game.

If you know pokemon than you know remake, its okay if you want to replay an awesome installment of the game series but if you played it for the gba wouldn't so many hours of time consuming goodness/badness

As soon as I recieved pokemon heart gold, I began to play it right away. I still have to do some things in this game, but I completed the main storyline. It is a great remake of gold version for gameboy color. I was surprised by the awesome graphics this game has! I recommend buying it.

I bought this for my 12 yr. old grandson, and he loves it. He was especially impressed with the action figure that came with it.
