This is the best controller for the PS2.It is good for small or big hands. I haven't been able to use my Logitech controller recently(I lost my mini receiver). If you have a PS2 get this controlller you won't regret it(If you buy it and you don't like it sell it me).

I ordered the 997-000010 controller and it stated it was just like the original PS2 controller. It is not, it is smaller than the Playstation 2 OEM controller. If you are an adult, This controller is NOT for you. My hands are getting cramped because half my hand has nothing to hold on to. I will never buy a controller over the internet without trying it for fit in stores first and you should do the same. I feel let down by logitech. They should have made controller the same dimensions as original rather than trying to save a bit on plastic.

happy wih controllers
This is a great controller. It is very durable. I bought it for my 4 year old son and he and his friends are always dropping the controllers. However, they continue to work like a charm. This controller also has a long battery life. I was a little sceptical about buying wireless controllers because I was worried about always having to buy batteries for them but the batteries last for a long time. However, we turn vibate off when we play. All in all, I am very satisfied with the contoller. We don't miss the sony ps2 contollers because the Logitech contollers are very similar in look and feel.

I bought for my son for his PS2, it works directaly out of the box, he loved it sooooo much, battery live it great also, the build quality seems better that the PS2 original Sony controllers.

I purchased this controller to replace a Radio Shack branded wireless controller that stopped working a few months after purchase. I found this Logitech controller at a great price here on Amazon. The controller buttons are well laid out and connection to the base reciever is seamless....just plug and play. The PS 2 maybe a dying platform, but I still enjoying playing games with my kids on it with this wireless controller.
